What is Vampyrism and Vampyres?

Vampire/Vampyre -
Any individual that requires energy from an outside source that may not normally be found in your average day to day eating and drinking sources.

Vampirism/Vampyrism -
Any action, act, or practice of acquiring energies, bodily fluids, and/or blood from an outside source; Its a need more than a desire or fetish to draw from life force/energy, to feed.. in order to thrive or survive. Usually when a vampire has been denied or denies himself this energy his suffers physically or even psychologically. His entire system become unbalanced. It can be said to be both an illness and blessing. Why would one call themselves cursed to be who they are? Is a tiger in the jungle also cursed?

What is it's true Nature?

The argument may still be controversial but we know what we are.

Are you a Goth? Are all vampires goth?
No and no. People are who and what they want to be - irregardless of what abilities/conditions/talents/etc. they are born with. Clothing has nothing to do with it. Vampyrs wear black, but also, purple, grey, green, blues, browns, etc. Anything color they want...why not?

Are you evil? Do you (or vampires in general) worship the devil?
No and No. First off, being an evil person is something that you have to choose - not something you're born with. If you are a non-evil person before coming into your vampiric nature, you won't suddenly 'turn' evil. Just like with normal humans, it's the individual who is evil - not the species. Secondly, a person's religion has nothing to do with whether or not they are a vampire. Vampirism is something you are born with - like height or natural hair color - and religion is something that you personally decide to put your faith in. Vampires can be of any religion - Christian, Jewish, Buddhism, Hindu, Pagan, Atheist/Agnostic, Satanism, etc.

Can I be turned into one?

The answer to that would be a BIG NO! You are either born one or your not.

A note on this:
Some may Awaken to their Vampyric Nature later on in life but if you are not one you can not be turned or sired into being one, it just doesn't happen that way.
